What to do with leftover rice? Korean style fried rice. Bokumbap 볶음밥
This is the easiest Korean dish we can do with some leftover rice.
Actually, I am happy to find out I have extra rice to make this Bokumbap because my kids love it and they eat their veggies!
We can create so many variations of Bokumbap!
Today, I made a very simple version that my kids love.
Let's make it!
Ingredients:
Any leftover cooked rice
Diced potatoes, carrots, green beans, onions
Diced ham
Little bit of oil
Heat a large pan with some oil.
Add the veggies and ham.
Stir-fry until the veggies are cooked.
Add the rice in the pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
Fry for 2 more minutes to add some crispness
And...
It's ready!
I know it's so simple.
Next time, whenever you cook rice, make a big portion and keep the extra in the freezer!
