Creamy Seafood Ttokbokki - 크림소스 해물 떡볶이 |
I bought some fresh shrimps and sea scallops from the fish market today
and I wanted to do something unusual with them.
So I thought this recipe will be the perfect match!
Great, because I also had some frozen seafood (calamari and mussels) in my freezer.
For 4-6 people:
3 big handful rice cake
1 Cup seafood mix (frozen or fresh)
12-15 large shrimps
8-10 sea scallops
1 Cup chopped onions
3 garlic cloves thinly sliced
Cream
Butter
Salt, Pepper
(if you want a little bit of kick, hot peppers)
If you don't have large shrimps or sea scallops, you can increase the amount of seafood mix.
In a deep pan, add 2 Tbs of butter and some olive oil.
Cook garlic and onions on high heat
fry them until golden brown
then add rice cake.
Stir fry until rice cakes are half cooked
Add seafood, continue to stir-fry
When it is getting brown, add cream
Cook until the rice cakes become soft
Season with salt and pepper
Add hot peppers to finish
It is extremely simple to make but incredibly delicious!
